Summer Camps, 2008

Summer Camps will be held weeks beginning:

• June 16, 23, 30
• July 7, 14, 21, 28
• August 4, 11

Camps will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. (For the week of 4th July, the camp will be on Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd.) You'll get a riding lesson every day. (If you normally ride on one of these days, you'll ride twice that day.) Cost is $140 per camp. Campers must provide their own boots, helmets and lunches. Camps are only for current students of Jeremy's Ranch.

Students who attend three or more camps will be eligible for all FIELD TRIPS and will get a TRAIL RIDE one day each week. Parents are welcome on the field trips.

Field Trips

Dates to be arranged:

• Flower arranging at Four Seasons’ Flower Shop in Poway, Thursday July 10, morning.
• Leo Carrillo’s ranch in Carlsbad, Thursday July 24. Leave Ranch at 9 a.m.
• Del Mar races, Thursday August 7. Leave Ranch at 12:30 p.m.
• Early morning workouts at Del Mar racetrack, Thursday August 14. Leave Ranch at 6:15 a.m. Don’t miss this one! We’ll have a tour of a barn, meet a trainer, exercise rider and probably a jockey. And we’ll meet the racehorses up close!
• Showjumping Grand Prix at Del Mar. Date to be advised.
