Summer Camps, 2010
Summer Camps will be held weeks beginning:
- June 14, 21, 28
- July 5, 12, 19, 26
- August 2, 9, 16, 23
Camps will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. You'll get a lesson every day. (If you normally ride on one of these days, you'll ride twice that day.) Cost is $150 per camp. Campers must provide their own boots, helmets and lunches. Camps are only for current students of Jeremy's Ranch.
Students who attend one camp will be eligible for one field trip (the
campout counts as a field trip). Students who attend three or more camps
will be eligible for all FIELD TRIPS and will get a TRAIL RIDE one day
each week. Parents are welcome on the field trips.
Field Trips and Special Events
INTERESTED IN BECOMING A VETERINARIAN? Don’t miss out on these two field trips:- Vessels Stallion Farm: Thursday July 22
Best field trip we ever had! This farm breeds thoroughbreds and quarter horses. If we’re lucky, they’ll show us their laboratory and let us look down their microscopes. - San Luis Rey Equine Hospital: Thursday August 5
We’ll see state-of-the-art equipment, and a vet will tell us about the procedures they do here. We’ll learn about horse ailments and lamenesses in camps before we go.
- Campout: There will be a CAMPOUT in the arena on Wednesday July 28. We’ll have a BBQ, campfire, s’mores, a storyteller and games. Bring a sleeping bag (we’ll discuss tents later.)
- Del Mar Races: Thursday August 12. Leave Ranch at 12:30 p.m.

Parents are welcome on field trips.
There will be a small charge for admission to the Del Mar Races.
