Here are some examples of the problems that students solve
in summer camps:
Logic
There are five horses in five stalls. The heights of the horses are:
14 hands, 14.2 hands, 15.2 hands, 16 hands, and 16.2 hands.
- Star is on the left of Mimi (who is 2 inches taller then Star).
- Peaches is on the right of Gina (who is not in stall 4). Peaches
is 2 inches taller then Gina.
- Flame is 2 inches taller than the horse in stall 2 (who is not Peaches).
Which horse is in which stall, and how tall is each horse?
Math
We put 30 lbs. of carrots in the pasture. There are 19 carrots per lb.
Jeremy eats twice as fast as Oliver who eats four times faster than George.
Jeremy is giving a lesson when the carrots are put there, so he is only
there for a quarter of the time.
While Jeremy is in the lesson, we put Dodger down there and he comes
out when Jeremy goes back.
Dodger eats twice as fast as Jeremy.

10 were due for shoeing AND vaccinations.
75 had new shoes.
